FINANCE
• Must have sufficient managerial/supervisorial experience in the preparation of accounting books/reports (ie. Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Changes in Retained Earnings)
• Manage staff in maintaining existing financial systems including petty cash, expenses, claims, and income & expenditure records, and monthly bank reconciliation.
• Able to lead the team in providing complete set of Financial Statements on a monthly basis.
• Lead on finance-related projects as required
• Must have sufficient managerial/supervisorial knowledge in the cash management of a company
• Able to introduce processes or ways to reduce expenses of the company and increase its profitability
• Knowledge in Quickbooks Online is a preference
TAXATION
• Must have sufficient managerial/supervisorial knowledge in corporate, employee, and sole proprietor (contractor) taxation.
• Must have experience in managerial/supervisorial oversight of the overall tax compliance of the company
• Ensure end of year procedures are followed including reconciliation of taxation requirements (e. g: payment summaries)
• Must also be knowledgeable on effective and legal tax avoidance for the benefit of the company
• Able to lead and teach staff to properly handle taxation in general
• Previous experience and/or dealings with the BIR is an advantage
PAYROLL PREPARATION & MANAGEMENT
• Must have sufficient managerial/supervisorial experience in end to end payroll processes such as:
o Timesheet preparation
o Payroll computation including proper deductions, tax computation etc.
o Knowledgeable in government remittances such as SSS, Philhealth and HDMF including availment of their loans or incentives.
o Able to manage the annualization of salaries on year end or resignation of the employees.
• Knowledgeable in compensation planning of employees and the taxability of employee benefits
• Able to lead the team in meeting all payroll timelines and delivery
• Review and report to upper management other payroll related reports such as work charts, wage computation, and other information for proper planning of wage pays.
• Oversight on Leave Monitoring.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

Oversight of the staff for the following administrative duties:

• Equipment Inventory for Lapsing Schedules
• Document filing and backup
• Adequacy of supplies requisition
• Staff and contractor movements for final pay computation and quit claims

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant managerial or supervisorial experience on Finance, Payroll, Tax and Administrative tasks.
• Previous experience of working in an administrative and support role, including experience of setting up and managing administrative systems is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Managerial/Supervisorial experience in Accounting.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability and desire to improve current systems through newly defined efficiencies and process improvement initiatives
• Strong computer skills, experience with MS Office programs, including but not limited to: word-processing, email, preparation of tables and proficiency in Excel spreadsheets. Sound understanding and/or experience with databases is essential
• Preferably CPA
• Excellent time management skills including the ability to plan, set priorities and to meet deadlines, with flexibility to alter priorities to meet changing demands
• Strong decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills and mindset
• Sociable, and enjoy meeting new people and helping others out
• Can demonstrate attention to detail, initiative and reliability
• Enjoy organizing, planning and delivering work
• Enthusiastic and engaging
• Able to present well and act professionally
