Job Summary

FLEXIBLE, WORK REMOTE & PART-TIME: Here is an opportunity to make your mark and implement your creative and innovative ideas! We are seeking a Public Relations/ Marketing Supervisor to enhance our network, increase brand awareness and execute effective communication and media relations programs.
Public Relations/Marketing Supervisor will assist with planning and coordination of all internal and external marketing in various channels. They will lead a small marketing team as well as plan a marketing calendar and assist in preparing a proposed marketing budget.

They will contribute to the development of an overall marketing strategy and written action plans in order to achieve specific objectives and give the marketing team direction. The Public Relations/Marketing Supervisor will help to measure, evaluate, and analyze the marketing programs adjust as and when needed. They must be detail oriented and have good organization and team leadership skills.

Experience and or education in Public Relations/Marketing is required (even if it is a small amount). They must understand both online and offline marketing. They should have exceptional writing and editing skills. They must also be able to adhere to deadlines and have good time management. The Public Relations/Marketing must be comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews, as they will be a company spokesperson as well. Event Planning experience is a plus, but not required. The hours are flexible although you will need to be available for team meetings at agreed upon times.

Additional Responsibilities
• Oversee/Manage the Marketing Team with a fellow Marketing Supervisor
• Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
• Coordinate all public relations activities
• Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
• Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
