Main responsibilities:
News and feature writing, write fresh, interesting and captivating articles.
Conducts research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, utilizing sources such as newspaper accounts, interviews, the internet and other relevant sources.
Reviews, submits for approval, and revises written material in line with the mission and vision of the magazine.
Come up with catchy titles and blurbs for the news and feature articles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts in English or Journalism.
Excellent writing skills, with great passion in writing about almost anything.
Elementary knowledge of graphic design and photo editing softwares like Adobe
PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator and others.
Excellent skills in scouring and searching the internet.
Knowledge of different social media platforms is an asset.
Should be able to work with minimum supervision
Applicant should have good internet connection.
Basic knowledge in blogging is an advantage
Position is home-based, with occasional field work.
