Chief Accounting Officer

- Acting as the Group Accounting Authority in country and must be the financial link between Agencies and Publicis Groupe in Paris
- Must ensure that the Preparation of month end financial information (packs) for both the Agencies and into HFM is according to Janus – full GL functional month end close for all Agencies.
- Responsible for the management reconciliation of local GAAP to Group a/c rules
- Must have a strong understanding of Taxation and application of all tax matters in the Philippines
- Must ensure that all Financial Teams meet all month end deadlines for both Agency and Group Reporting – zero tolerance for slippage.
- Must Ensure Publicis Groupe Policy (Janus) compliance esp Vol. II but also Vol. I across all teams in the SSC – there must be no compromise and no surprises
- Must be the key Interface with Group auditors both internal and external
- Must have the confidence and communication ability to inform Paris about issues both in the SSC and the Agencies in a professional and problem solving way
- Must be able to understand in detail the working mechanism of each of the Financial functions in the SSC and where appropriate recommend structural changes around continuous improvement and provide value added solutions to process and system improvement.
- Must assist the MD with the Budget management of the SSC and work jointly with the MD or Country Manager to prepare, and forecast SSC budgets.
