Support customers implementing IP closed-circuit television (CCTV)
systems including, networked cameras, encoders, storage, servers,
video management software, etc.
• Knowledge of digital video a plus and intermediate programming a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of PC/Laptop hardware
components and basic troubleshooting, Windows
networking, LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, client, server,
database, operations systems, workflow systems and
network applications, Active Directory system administration
tasks, and mobile devices.
• Experience in managing/troubleshooting enterprise
managed IP switches from international vendors (Cisco,
HP/3Com, Huawei, Juniper, Hirschman, Allied Telesis, IBM)
• Knowledge with regard to common standard software (e.g.
shown by MOS certificate),
• Experience in design, implementation, installation and
configuration of a medium- to large-scale IP CCTV system
• Familiarity with Networked storage array hardware and
technology, server/workstation hardware
• Experience in implementing networks carrying live video
streams (or similar 24/7 stable-traffic, low latency data
streams).
