JR. IT PROGRAMMER


JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Programmer shall:

1. Be responsible for the proper coding of programs using designated programming language(s) and based on predefined system specifications.

2. Be in constant coordination with the system architect, database administrator, end-user and other stakeholders for the design of the system.

3. Supervise the implementation of the system and ensure all functional and technical aspects are working correctly before final turnover to the end-user.

4. Conduct technical training to identified users.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops accurate, efficient and structured programs.

2. Analyzes system specifications for completeness and conformity to programming standards.

3. Tests programs thoroughly and address all bugs, errors and requested enhancements.

4. Conducts technical training on system operations for newly developed/implemented systems.

5. Provides technical support on newly developed/implemented systems either by phone or visit on-site.

6. Prepares documentation to include, but not limited to:

- File Layout
- Screen Description
- Program Map
- Users Manual
- Conversation Flow
- Testing Documents

7. Performs other work-related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of 2-5 years experience in website, online systems, back-end development & other web-related projects.

2. Experience in Dedicated Server and/or Cloud Hosting deployment

3. Experience in the following web development technologies:

- Laravel Framework
- PHP / MySQL
- Unix Systems
- NodeJS

4. Experience in various software development methodologies, particularly in Agile.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Able to manage multiple priorities at once and respond to urgent request

2. Must possess initiative and perseverance.

3. Proficient in oral and written communication
