Translate and edit financial information and text from specified language into English. Help in building and developing translation memories and terminology database for covered language. May involve limited research of company-related information on the Internet and/or through directly contacting companies.
Principal Duties:
• Accurately translate financial reports from a given language into English.
• Edit translations to ensure quality and consistency.
• Utilize CAT software to create, develop and maintain translation memories and terminology databases, including alignment of already translated materials.
• Conduct research via the Internet and/or company calls, as needed.
Skills and Experience Background:
• Fluency in written and spoken English as well as one of the required non-English languages.
• Prior experience as a translator recommended, but not required. Basic knowledge of accounting and financial subject matter, concepts and terms in both English and non-English languages.
• Working knowledge of computers and desktop applications. Experience with CAT software tools a plus.
Expected Shift: Regular day shift.
