JOB SUMMARY

● Design, document, develop, test and deploy complex, scalable, highly available and reusable applications
● Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and architects to understand business requirements.
● Prepares references for users by writing operating instructions.
● Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
● Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
● Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
● Code and test programming for in-house software programs
● Debug code for existing programs based on an immediate need
● Conduct end-user training upon completion of software
● Implement systems in an in-house production environment
● Report issues and concerns immediately to Development Head
● Troubleshoot system bugs and issues
● Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and performs debugging when necessary
● Ensure direct communication over email, chats, and ticketing chain to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
● Be proactive, take accountability and ownership of assigned tasks to meet commitments on time and of quality
● Adhere to organization administrative policies
● Support business operations as necessary


Qualifications:

● 3+ years of developing software using Java
● Experienced in Java EE technologies and in the following frameworks:
○ Spring (Core)
○ Spring WS
○ Spring REST
○ Spring JDBC
○ Spring Boot
○ Hibernate
○ Maven
○ Jasper Reports
● Knowledgeable in frontend development such as HTML, Javascript, CSS, AngularJS, NodeJS
● Knowledgeable in DB related technologies such as SQL DDL statements, SQL DML queries, Triggers, Stored Procedure, Replication, etc.
● Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent technical experience.
● Knowledgeable in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
