Job Description

Manage the design process using commercial, contractual, program/time awareness and technical expertise.
Prepare feasibility assessment of unsolicited projects and provide reliable recommendation
Plan, direct, or coordinate engineering activities and engineering teams.
Ensure the design process recognizes current practice, standards and codes, where appropriate.
Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
Develop detailed cost estimates and project schedules
Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team
Assist in developing design delivery schedule with TDS head, Project Managers, and consultants
Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work
Identify and solve engineering problems during pre-construction phase
Develop innovative solutions and improvements to technical processes
Ensure adherence of highway and structures design to quality, safety and environmental regulations
Develop subordinates work performance and skills through relevant learning interventions
Qualifications

Education
Graduate of Civil Engineering
Master’s degree in related discipline an advantage
Licenses/Certificates
PRC Licensed
Work Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in engineering and infrastructure projects. Preferably designs of highway and bridges.
Skills:
Proficient on the use of Design Softwares such as Civil3D, Autocad, STAAD, ETABS, etc.
Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Powerpoint, and other work-relevant softwares). *
