• Maintain the current stock level of regular items at all times by:

o Setting safety stock and target quantity levels

o Suggesting to stock below safety stock level or above target quantity level during foreseen price changes, supply uncertainties and other special cases

o Computing required order quantity based on actual consumption trend or approved forecast

o Approving Requisition Slips from other Company units within the specified lead time

• Ensures that all purchased items are of the right quality and is in accordance with pre-agreed specifications.

• Ensures that each of the present and future suppliers will be able to supply 100% of the present and future requirements of the company.

• Ensures that product costs are maintained at its optimum level.

• Approves PO, based on specified standards and conditions.

• Ensures the promotion of the company’s best image in his dealings with the public.

Job Qualifications

• College Degree in BS Business Administration/Management, BS Industrial Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Management Engineering, or equivalent.

• Preferably among the top of his/her class in College/University

• At least 5 years of experience in a purchasing / procurement in a FMCG industry

• Required language(s): English, Filipino

• Superior Verbal and Numerical Skills.

• Has strong analytical skills

• Excellent project management & communication skills

• Has excellent facilitation & presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal, planning, organizing and influencing skills.

• Assertive and confident in presenting ideas

• With high interest in working on tasks that require great attention to details.

• Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City
