JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Dashboard and Analytics Specialist is responsible for the analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement, update of data sources using data modeling work to develop reporting capabilities.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Coordinates and discusses report fields and requirements with the Accounting Dashboard and Analytics Analyst.
2.Run the flow in the system to update the data sources connected to published dashboards.
3.Work and collaborate with the dashboard and analytics team to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
4.Report and discuss with the Accounting Dashboard and Analytics Manager and with the Comptroller to prioritize business and information needs.
5.Defining new data collection and analysis tools.
6.Evaluating changes and updates to data sources.
7.Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
8.Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
2.Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
3.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret information with attention to detail and accuracy.
4.Knowledge of and experience with dashboards packages (Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Online, etc.)
5Good verbal and written communication skills
6.Knowledgeable, or familiar with, MS Office or Google Suite.
