Overview: The Jr. Performance Marketing Analyst will be responsible for supporting marketing initiatives in Pay-Per-Click, Comparison Shopping Engine, and Affiliate marketing channels. We are looking for individuals with keen attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, excellent organization and communication skills, and prior experience with online marketing. Good English communication skills (written and verbal) are required as the management team is US-based. Must be comfortable with engaging in frequent communication, providing the marketing team with status updates and notifications of any unexpected delays with work output, asking questions, receiving feedback, training and learning new tools remotely. This person will be a key player in optimizing our marketing initiatives.


Responsibilities:

• Research keywords based on products and general industry terms
• Write ad copy, short product titles and descriptions
• Update Excel spreadsheets with bid adjustments and upload them into an online tool
• Build, optimize, and update comparison shopping engine feeds
• Manage relationships with affiliate sites
• Update performance reports in Excel
• Analyze performance using Excel; make recommendations to improve performance
• Use Google AdWords, Google Analytics and other online interfaces to further analyze and understand performance (training will be provided, however prior experience with these tools is a major plus)
• Track changes made to accounts and keep the team informed of when major changes are complete
• Other online marketing analysis and support as needed

Skills Required:

• Prior experience in online marketing
• Skilled with Google Adwords and Analytics
• Knowledgeable with SEM and website strategy
• Highly skilled with Excel – must be comfortable building and using complex models and formulas
• Strong attention to detail and proven multi-tasking ability
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn new tools quickly
• Comfort working through a task via electronic means: email and chat

Location: Our corporate offices are based in Northern California, but the Jr. Performance Marketing Analyst position is a remote working position with at least 1 Mbps internet connection speed.
