Key Responsibilities: Assist the AMI Systems Engineer…
- Oversee the design, evaluation, development, and implementation of AMI meter applications.
- Ensure that meter application solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Monitor metering industry developments and maintain working knowledge of AMI meter application capabilities, trends, and developments.
- Support road map for development projects, including defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation specifically for AMI meter applications.
- Support business case analysis to evaluate the financial and operational impacts of AMI meter application projects.
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Develop detailed reports outlining the cost-benefit analysis, return on investment, and strategic recommendations for AMI projects.
- Monitor and report on the performance of AMI meter applications, providing insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
- Communicate with internal/external stakeholders; including Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory, and IT, to understand their needs related to AMI meter applications and translate them into technical requirements.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to AMI meter applications.
- Perform other duties as directed by the top-level management deemed necessary for the company.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field/course.
- Relevant coursework might include digital systems design, electrical circuit theory, and metering technology.
- At least 1 year experience in metering technology, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Proficient in meter testing and calibration.
- Familiar with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- A valid driver’s license, as the job often involves traveling to different locations.
