Description
This role will report under MIESCOR-Distribution Utilities Services (DUS) unit who will work closely in a teamwork environment. The architect will be assigned in quantity surveying of MERALCO's projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other relevant documents
2. Review building, construction or architectural plans and prepare quantity needs and cost of materials
3. Create price/forecast of the cost of materials needed as well as feasibility studies
4. Undergo Quantity Take-off and Plan interpretation
5. Carry out monthly valuation of work in progress including forecasting of final cost and sales
6. Material Submission, Ordering, and Procurement
7. Supplier/Subcontractor Quotation and Evaluation
8. Measure and value work done on site
9. Come up with ways to reduce overall cost of a project ensuring the best value
QUALIFICATION:
- Registered Architect
- Must be proficient in these software: Microsoft tools & AutoCAD
- Min. of 2 years work experience in QS & estimation
- Can start asap
Work Location: MERALCO Pasig
Work Schedule: Full time On-site, Monday-Friday
