Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field (preferred).
- Certified Safety Officer
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and training abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
- Conduct safety orientation and training for employees.
- Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate emergency preparedness programs (fire drills, evacuation plans).
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with management and department heads to promote a safety culture.
- Submit monthly report to DOLE
