Job Description: Store Assistant

Job Summary:

As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the quality and freshness of our meat products. You will assist customers with their meat selections, prepare and package orders, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate cuts of meat based on their needs and preferences.
  • Provide information on meat preparation, cooking times, and storage.
  • Answer customer questions and address concerns promptly.
• Meat Preparation:
  • Package meat products accurately and neatly.
  • Ensure proper labeling and dating of all products.
• Store Maintenance:
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat display cases, cutting stations, and surrounding areas.
  • Stock shelves and coolers with meat products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to management.
• Food Safety and Hygiene:
  • Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and storing meat products.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or food service setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
