1. Handles the purchasing of electronics materials, both direct and indirect materials and other services.
2. Process approved purchase requisitions (PR) and create a purchase order (PO) then send for approval.
3. Responsible in sourcing and purchase of the assigned materials/services in the most economical way.
4. Canvasses price, negotiates, obtain quotation, and placing of PO.
5. Getting delivery confirmation, expediting and ensure on time delivery from the vendor.
6. Ensure that the ordered products/services are in accordance with the given specs or part number and vendor is in the approved supplier’s list.
7. Coordinates the status of the ordered products/services to the end user.
8. Do invoice matching. PO versus invoice and actual received (this includes checking of price and quantity) prior endorsement to Accounting (AP).
9. Update and maintain the PO monitoring file.
10. Prepares any purchasing related report and performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
